Funstop safely transports children from school by our fully insured people carriers, all fitted with seat belts, booster seats and first aid kits.
We collect from all local schools.

Our after school club is operated from our main nursery building, the children have the use of 3 separate rooms upstairs, here we offer a wide variety of board games, puzzles, construction and other toys/equipment.

The kids can play on the PS2’s or use the computers plus a new football table and scalextric track. We make use of the TV where the children can watch the new large flat screen TV with built in freeview and DVD player, we also have a Nintendo Wii with various age appropriate games which is very popular!
There is also an area to do homework with access to books and a computer.

The children also use downstairs and can make use of the computer or get involved in the various craft or cooking activities on offer.
We have a separate area where they can play board games, build models with K’Nex or Lego etc or read any of the books available. All the kids can make use of the outside area to play football and climb (weather permitting).

Admissions

For the After School Care Club, we operate a waiting list whereby children can be added to the list at any time. When a space then becomes available the child at the top of the list will be offered that space. However, this is dependent on there being sufficient spaces on the transport provided from that particular school.

Upon arrival at Funstop, all children are provided with a drink and a biscuit, toast or fruit. A snack type tea is available, at an extra charge, although children can bring their own packed tea if required.

All parents have to be registered with us to receive a copy of our Reservation Form, which are usually distributed approximately 5-6 weeks prior to the school holidays. Parents then indicate on this form which sessions are required and then return the completed form back to Funstop. Funstop will then contact parents approximately 3-4 weeks before the holidays to confirm which sessions have been reserved for them. Additional After School Care and Holiday Club Information

Access into the Premises

Access into our premises is via a “security code” entered into a digital touch pad. Once the correct code has been entered the entrance door will automatically unlock allowing access into nursery. All parents are given the security code, which is changed on a regular basis. Therefore, the only people with automatic entry is existing parents and staff.

Parking

It is vitally important that the Cherry Tree Car Park is used at all times.
This is not only for the safety of your children but was a recommendation made by the Highways Dept of Norfolk County Council when we were granted our planning permission.

Collection Procedure

It is vital that you notify the club if your child is being collected by anyone other than those people authorised on our records. Children will not be permitted to leave with anyone for whom authorisation has not been granted. Please ensure that your child is collected promptly and telephone us if any delay is envisaged.

And Finally!!

The atmosphere at Funstop is informal and recreational whilst maintaining a clear code of conduct. We are confident that all children who attend Funstop will be welcomed with open arms and hope we will be treated as a second home!
