Outside Play

Children of all ages love to be outdoors whatever the weather, indeed outdoor learning provides the children with the potential to learn in a different way – it can be more physical, faster louder and bigger! The nature of the ever-changing outdoor environment also helps children to develop their problem solving and thinking skills.

We have created different areas that all the children can freely explore from the large purpose-built sandpit to our well-equipped mud kitchen, dinosaur area and various 1 and 2 person bikes.

We have bought waterproofs for each child so they can freely explore outside, however during the winter months please ensure your child comes into nursery with suitable warm clothing and wellies and during the summer we ask that parents and carers apply sunblock before coming into nursery and leave some in their bag to be re-applied as and when necessary.
